The Major 1.0 Additions
Version 1.0 added beverages as a goods category and introduced the Brew Barrel for producing drinks to sell to customers.
The new Arcane Fountain is a throwing device that automatically searches for suitable targets.
The Wagon System adds rail-based logistics with greater transport capacity than conveyors, although its construction and planning are more complex.
You can transform into a wagon and travel along the rails to explore and inspect the factory.
The Grand Portal brings customers from distant cities, while reworked navigation lets customers reach upper floors when paths are planned appropriately.
You can remove the initial shop entrance, place multiple shop gates elsewhere, and use the Shop Recognition system that replaced the former Reputation system.
Rules Returning Players Should Update
- How do reputation and shop upgrades work now?
- Shop Recognition replaced the former Reputation system, and customer purchase feedback no longer affects Reputation. Recognitions can increase shop reputation and profits. Shop sales upgrades were reworked, purchase contract upgrades were removed, and their bonuses were integrated into Shop Recognition.
- Where are non-production devices unlocked?
- Non-production devices were removed from the Tech Tree and must now be unlocked at the Workbench beside your bed. The Workbench consumes materials to upgrade inventory capacity and restocking speed and to unlock construction tools.
- What do the Workbench construction levels provide?
- Construction level 1 provides platforms and stairs. Level 2 provides the build hammer, lets you press X to delete the starter walls, and enables rebuilding the initial house and purchasing land plots. Level 3 adds the Pillar, while the Passenger Lift is also unlocked by upgrading the Building Tool.
- What materials do the Lab Stand options use?
- The four Lab Stand build options use Planks and Nails: the single option costs 1 of each, the paired option costs 2 of each, and the two larger variants cost 4 of each and 8 of each respectively.
- Which recipe and heating rules changed?
- Linseed Oil production and consumption quantities were reduced by the same proportion. The Obsidian recipe's byproduct changed from Volcanic Ash to Marble. The base heat cost of all heating devices was removed.
- What other building and utility changes arrived?
- Brick and Marble building sets and new miniature decorations were added. Blueprints gained folder navigation, throwing devices show range indicators while building, and Cannon and Catapult target selection was adjusted.
- How did item breakdown and sale pricing change?
- The Knowledge Altar can break down any item for experience, with Relics granting additional experience. Items are sold at the price they have when the customer picks them up.
